M3M Foundation, through its flagship initiative Project Kartavya, continues to make a profound impact on the lives of laborers by not only ensuring food security but also addressing their essential needs. As part of this initiative, the Foundation has successfully distributed 24,213 jackets, 3,035 blankets, 12,774 t-shirts, and 19,432 pairs of shoes to laborers across various construction sites.

This large-scale distribution drive reflects M3M Foundation’s deep commitment to the dignity, well-being, and overall upliftment of the workforce that forms the backbone of the infrastructure sector. By ensuring that laborers have access to proper clothing and essentials, the Foundation aims to provide comfort, warmth, and protection, especially in challenging weather conditions.

Through unwavering dedication, strategic collaborations, and an empathetic approach, M3M Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to create a more inclusive, supportive, and empowered society for all.

SAHYOG

The construction industry is the tenth most dangerous workplace, whether you are digging trenches, erecting scaffolding, using power tools, working along the roadway, putting roofs on buildings, constructing bridges or any other aspect of construction, the risk of being injured or killed on the job is considerable. 20 per cent of all work-related deaths occur in the construction industry are because of the fatal four- Falls, Being hit with an object, Electrocution, Being caught between equipment. Many of the time the worker does not lose his/her life but experiences a non-fatal accident and its consequences.

To address the inhuman working conditions and poor health and safety standards in the real estate industry, M3M Foundation enacted the Sahyog Project under its Programme Kartavya. The Policy provides for a plethora of welfare benefits to ensure the social security of construction workers who toil under constant risk of limb and life. Under this Project, in case of death, the family of the deceased will be given a Fixed Deposit as financial assistance and in case of permanent total disablement, the worker will be given financial support.

COVID RESPONSE

Covid Relief: The spread of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown to curtail the deadly virus, resulted in loss of millions of livelihood in India. The impact is particularly severe for the workers of the informal sector. In order to reach out to the most affected groups, M3M Foundation along with Aide et Action has ensured dry ration support to more than 500 families in the labour camps of NCR and approximately 100000 Meals per month to the migrant labourers in Gurgaon. In close coordination with our esteemed supporters, we stepped in to provide relief support, cooked food and dry ration to thousands of people across Delhi NCR region. Each dry ration kit included rice, wheat and other essentials.

Covid Care Centre: During the second wave of Corona virus, Foundation launched the fully functional Covid Care Centre with 400 beds capacity. This free of cost facility was inaugurated by Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister of Haryana. The center was equipped with all the essential medical facilities like 24X7 doctor's availability, mobile medical care unit, ambulance, oxygen beds along with 3-meals a day. The Indian Air Force and Doctors for You came forward to join this mission of the M3M Foundation to save lives along with District Administration Gurgaon.

Oxygen Plant: In response to address the issue of oxygen shortage during the second outbreak of Corona virus. An oxygen generation plant of 200 liters capacity was established at the Civil Hospital Narwana to support the Health Department Jind in their fight against Covid19.

Jan Swasthya Chetna Yatra: With support from the Health Department, Government of Haryana, ‘Jan Swasthya Chetna Yatra’ an awareness-cum vaccination campaign was launched under iMpower programme at Tauru block in Nuh district of Haryana. The campaign held from 12th to 31st August 2021, was focused on ramping up vaccination and shedding vaccine-related hesitancy among communities in 60 villages. With continuous edutainment activities, community mobilization, and involvement of stakeholders across the villages, 2677 community members were vaccinated and around 10000 individuals were mobilised through this project.

Act for Animal

An effort towards those who are not looked after. Under the initiative we have arranged jackets, beds and food packets for more than 100 stray dogs to support them during these harsh weather conditions at different locations including Merlin, Merina, Sec-113, sec-73, D&C office, Golf Estate, Latitude.

Health Camp

M3M Foundation, under its flagship initiative Project Kartavya, remains committed to enhancing the well-being of laborers by providing them with essential healthcare services. As part of this mission, the Foundation has successfully organized 70 large-scale health camps, covering all M3M Foundation construction sites and labor camps.

Through these extensive healthcare camps, a total of 8,569 beneficiaries received comprehensive health check-ups, expert medical consultations, and essential medications—ensuring that laborers have access to quality healthcare services right at their workplaces. These camps were strategically conducted at labor sites and camps, ensuring maximum outreach to the workforce that plays a crucial role in nation-building.

By prioritizing the health and well-being of laborers, M3M Foundation reinforces its commitment to building a healthier, more empowered community. Through sustained efforts, strategic partnerships, and a deep sense of responsibility, the Foundation continues to bridge healthcare gaps and uplift the lives of those who need it the most.

Lala Ji Ki Rasoi

Lalaji ki Rasoi is an M3M Foundation’s initiative implemented by Ekta Foundation which was inaugurated on 5th March, 2024. It aims to work like a cloud kitchen. It has started operations by supplying to M3M construction labourers.

Afroj Journey to Better Health

Afroj, a dedicated construction worker, faced the daily challenges of physically demanding labor while also supporting his family. Like many workers in his community, he had little time or resources to focus on his health, and the constant fatigue and discomfort he experienced became part of his routine. He dismissed these signs as a natural consequence of his hard work, not realizing they could be symptoms of deeper health issues.

However, everything changed when Afroj attended a health camp organized by the M3M Foundation. It was a rare opportunity for him to access a free medical check-up, something he hadn’t done in years. The results of the check-up were eye-opening: he was diagnosed with thyroid problems and high cholesterol, conditions that were contributing to his constant fatigue and lowering his quality of life.
