Program Objective
M3M Foundation’s Triveni Awards Program
Aims to empower and support social entrepreneurs across India by providing financial support ranging from INR 5 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs. This initiative will enable promising social entrepreneurs from each state of India to scale their ventures and drive meaningful change in their communities.
Background:
India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is thriving, with individuals addressing critical social issues such as healthcare, education, agriculture, environmental sustainability, and financial inclusion. Despite their innovative ideas and passion, many entrepreneurs face significant challenges in accessing funding, market linkages, and capacity-building opportunities.
M3M Foundation, with its commitment to creating social impact and promoting sustainable development, recognizes the immense potential of these entrepreneurs to transform communities and contribute to India’s social and economic development. Through this program, the Foundation will provide targeted financial support to nurture these ventures, enabling them to scale their impact and achieve long-term sustainability.
Program Overview
Scope of Triveni Awards
Target 1 entrepreneur per state of India, ensuring that the program has a national reach, promoting innovation and social impact across the country.
Provide grant funding of INR 5 Lakhs - 10 Lakhs to selected entrepreneurs to scale their ventures, improve operational capacity, or enhance their products/services
Focus on ventures that solve critical social challenges in sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, livelihood, environment, and other areas aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Program Goals
To identify and nurture social entrepreneurs who are working on grassroots-level challenges, encouraging local solutions to local problems.
By providing grants to entrepreneurs selected on a PAN India basis, M3M Foundation aims to promote regional development and inclusive growth.
The program will support ventures that focus on uplifting underserved communities and addressing pressing social issues

Key Program Components
Mobilization and outreach
M3M Foundation will launch a national outreach campaign to invite applications from social entrepreneurs in all Indian states. This will be done by way of a google form, wherein applicants would be required to submit information about their product/service offering, community involvement, government collaboration & market bridge.
Selection process
The selection process will involve a multi-phase evaluation based on criteria such as social impact, business sustainability, scalability, and innovation. A transparent, merit-based approach will ensure that only the most deserving entrepreneurs are selected.
Grant readiness and support
Entrepreneurs will receive guidance on how to best utilize the grant, ensuring the funds are used effectively to enhance their ventures’ impact and scalability. The grant can be used for capacity building, infrastructure development, product scaling, or operational enhancement.
Final award event
The culmination of the program will be a grand award event on 16th December, where the selected entrepreneurs from each state will be honoured and their achievements showcased.
Expected Outcomes
Through the Triveni Awards Program, M3M Foundation envisions creating a sustainable and inclusive ecosystem for social entrepreneurship in India. This initiative will not only provide immediate support to individual entrepreneurs but will also foster a culture of innovation and impact-driven business across the country. Over time, the Foundation aims to develop this program into a national movement, nurturing a new wave of changemakers committed to building a better future for India.
Long Term Vision
With one entrepreneur selected per state, the program will identify at least 50 & support at least 10-12 social entrepreneurs across India, addressing a wide range of critical social issues
By scaling their ventures, entrepreneurs will be able to create employment opportunities, contribute to local economies, and improve livelihoods in their regions.
The program will align with India’s efforts to achieve the SDGs, addressing challenges such as poverty, inequality, and environmental sustainability.
